The Split at Caye Caulker, Belize. The Split was helped created by Hurricane Hattie in 1961, slightly dividing the island into two, but erosion has deepened the split over time. Sometimes when natural disasters occur, I some how manage to find some beauty in them. They remind me that I am nothing more but a single life on this earth, and within a blink of an eye, my whole world could be crumbling. I could perish, get sucked into a tornado, or hit by a hurricane. Yeah, it would suck, but somehow, it makes me feel more human.
